The airline just announced its summer 2026 schedule, and spoiler alert: it’s full of new destinations, non-stop connections, and some seriously cool routes for both East and West Coast travellers.


Toronto Takes Off to South America (and Beyond)

Toronto travellers, this one’s for you. WestJet is giving Toronto Pearson International Airport its first-ever non-stop flight to South America: Medellín, Colombia. Imagine exploring Colombia’s colorful streets and coffee culture without the multi-stop hassle.

But that’s not all — Toronto is also getting seasonal flights to Cardiff, UK, the Azores (Ponta Delgada, Portugal), and a return to Glasgow, Scotland. That’s four new ways to explore Europe (and Colombia) directly from Canada’s largest city, all on WestJet’s extended-range Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
